Since Mary has been in a psychiatric hospital for a long time, her room was equipped with curtains that hide the devices intended for her treatment from her eyes. The curtains automatically rise as soon as someone opens the door, irritating the woman on the eve of the next procedures. Doctors have difficulty coping with Mary's aggression, so her bed is equipped with a fastening device that limits the woman's movements.
